My daughter signed up for what she thought was for a month for a free resume service. However, she has been charged $35 a month for the past 2 years without using their services once!

When we called to explain that it was obvious that she was unaware that she had to cancel in order to avoid monthly charges, we were told they would reimburse her for 3 months only. Then they finally said they would submit it to "higher" authorities for further review. Needless to say, we have never heard another word. Their comment earlier to us was that the terms are in writing and she should have known.

Really? She has never used your service once, and yet they never emailed or notified her in any way to remind her that these charges were being made every month for 2 years?

Is this the way they do business? We realize they are in a business for profit, but do ethics have any place in their company?
